In December, I introduced our district’s Saanich School District's Framework for Generative AI and shared plans for an upcoming parent/guardian information evening on Generative Artificial Intelligence. We're excited to announce a virtual GenAI Information Evening on Thurs. May 8^th @ 6:30 pm, where we'll explore the world of Generative AI and its implications for K-12 education. This session will cover a range of topics including our ‘Framework for Generative AI in Saanich Schools’, the opportunities and challenges of GenAI, its influence on the future of work, and practical guidance for parents in supporting their children.
